My honest, sincere vision on art
I see artistic practice as a whole: training of the body and mind, artistic research, community involvement, personal growth, product-oriented creation, workshop and ideas-sharing and all this implemented in the lifestyle: I handle it as a whole. Saying this, I develop my teaching, research and creation into the same direction, with the same intentions
- I keep offering the Instinct Body Training workshop. I have a group with whom I am also shaping the practice further. One use I implemented it recently is the ‘Mother Within’ research class where we, with audience members we examined and analysed the structure and dynamics of the family as a flexible but convergent unit. IBT is also a tool that I support other students, artists with in their own development and self-diving.
- This is an ongoing research that is supporting 2 new product-oriented creations: with mother-artists we started the creation of a new movement-theater piece, that examines, through personal experiences, what it’s like to be a mother today, in the actual situation, in the present moment – task-wise, emotionally, mentally, bodily – how generations of mothers can talk through the habits and questions of today. (working title: Remembrance of HOME // Az otthon emlékezete.) It’s the examination of the MOTHER and the WOMAN, the base person and center point of a family, who holds that flexible but convergent unit together. (planned premier: 2025)
- Remembrance of HOME is also aiming towards a new solo performance. (planned premier: 2024) That is a very personal yet the most common voice of a human route. In this I will touch where I am now as a human being, reflecting on the actual socio-political-historical happenings in the world and on how these happenings are affecting me as an individual.
- I am especially concerned about the LOVE and SPACE between people in this world where human knowledge is gradually replaced by other non-human technologies. I am inviting the community of artists around me and the audience to think together about the politics of the space and the public right to access human contact and human arts. Saying that, the third research will focus on the relationship of the MAN and the WOMAN (father and mother?), and will tend to examine the changes of a couple through life in these new conditions of the world. (planned premier: 2026)
As for the form, all the research has a body focus, but since it’s part of the mission of TalkingBodies, it aims to melt other artforms together – dance, music, puppetry, acting, singing and fine arts – with the cooperation of artists of all fields.
