It was nobody’s fault. Or everybody’s…? Not mine. Not mine. Not mine, for sure. I just…just…looked away. Breathed in… and there was no out anymore. I just wanted to live. She as well. Now it’s all in my head. I tried to ignore it but I couldn’t. This became the new reality.
‘With her all the movements died’ is willing to work with an imagined memory, that is left open for the spectator, what that memory really is. Love or hate, life or death.
This solo was born primarily for the “Thank you, Hungary! Program” // Köszönjük, Magyarország! Program // in 2020, but also for expressing my respect and admiration towards the big female artists – living in the past and present – who are role models for me.
