UPCOMINGS
Flora Veres, in her actual three-year-long research, is working on the aspects of the ‘FAMILY’.
- With the Instinct Body Training group, she examines and analyses the structure and dynamics of the family as a flexible but convergent unit. (2021-2024)
- With mother-artists she starts the creation of a new movement-theater piece, that examines, through personal experiences, what it’s like to be a mother today, in the actual situation, in the present moment – task-wise, emotionally, mentally, bodily – how generations of mothers can talk through the habits and questions of today. (working title: The memory of HOME // Az otthon emlékezete. Planned premier: May 2022, Budapest) It’s the examination of the MOTHER and the WOMAN, the base person and center point of a family, who holds that flexible but convergent unit together.
- The third research will focus on the relationship of the MAN and the WOMAN (father and mother), as the other important base of the family, (meant small or big,) and will tend to examine the changes of a couple through life.
As for the form, all the research has a body focus, but since it’s part of the mission of TalkingBodies, it aims to melt other artforms together – dance, music, puppetry, acting, singing and fine arts – with the cooperation of artists of all fields.
